Periodically, during the year, I have problems mentally. I cannot focus on my thoughts, I have wandering thoughts or incessant chatter in the mind. I have previously under a heavy stress load or panic load, heard audio and visual hallucinations over a 15 day period.
My mother ended up sending myself to the hospital, where I lived for 6 weeks. The doctor fed me 3-4 tablets of fish oil per day during the psychotic break. After about the 4th week, things began to get back to normal.
I have used anti-psychotics with several medicines to stabilize during panic attack stress reflexes. The first was Fluphenazine which has horrible side effects. Once I was released from the hospital I was given Invega 6-mg. Another public health doctor from Berkeley, asked about my depression. I experimented with the newer medicine Ability for 5 years, and it lost effectiveness after a while.
I tend to lean towards the idea, that menthol tobacco or flavored tobacco, combined with stress, can cause a psychotic break. There is hundreds of chemicals in menthol tobacco, so identifying the active ingredient is difficult. I was nicknamed “Chimney Stack” by a friend, for smoking so frequently, and so compulsively. The additive is DiAmmonium Phosphate.
Consistent with those findings, a 2017 study found that psychotic
disorder and severity of psychotic symptoms were associated with menthol
cigarette use in adult smokers with severe mental illness and a 2019 study found
that young adult smokers with severe mental illness who use menthol cigarettes
experience more psychiatric hospitalizations over their lifetimes compared to those
who use non-menthol cigarettes. Marie F. Brunette et al., Menthol cigarette use in young adult smokers with severe mental illnesses,

I learned in 1st semester Organic Chemistry from a Salem College professor, that stated that tobacco in cigarettes uses additional chemicals to help with Nicotine spike absorption. This spike of dopamine may have caused my mental illness, and irrationality.
Invega is probably the best medicine available, but once a Psychotic break happens, it takes almost a month or longer to fix, even if no hallucination is present. Often times I will have conversations with myself.
I have read medicine journals 10 years ago, that stated that fish oil helps people overcome their first psychotic break. Psychotic breaks are caused by stress induced sickness. It usually lasts 4-6 weeks. Up to 2 months. This is why there are often people walking around downtown streets, experiencing these symptoms, yelling, calling people out, and making a spectacle of themselves and making noise.
It’s a guess and check experiment, constantly shifting medications and seeing results, it’s difficult to maintain medicine management. Once you break the mind, it’s not easily curable and only can be treated.
The fish oil has so far been improving my condition lately, I am going to attempt this cocktail and give results. I can literally feel it ingest and start to affect me, it requires a daily regimen, and I see an improvement every day. I can suddenly recall obscure texts, and carry on detailed technical conversations. It definitely affects academic writing, and other measurable I.Q. performances, it also relieves oxidative stress.
