About Course

This 45 hour course is designed to teach object oriented programming, creating basic non GUI applications with hands on feedback and grading, programming syntax, standard programming logic, and introduction to IDE, command line, and running code programs.  First out of two courses.

  • Week 5-6: Conditionals (6 hours)
  • Quiz 3: Weeks 5-6 (Conditionals)
  • Week 7-8: Loops (6 hours)
  • Quiz 4: Weeks 7-8 (Loops)
  • Week 9: Strings (3 hours)
  • Quiz 5: Weeks 9-10 (Strings and Methods)
  • Week 10-11: Methods (6 hours)
  • Quiz 6: Weeks 11-12 (Methods and Arrays)
  • Week 12-13: Arrays (6 hours)
  • Quiz 7: Weeks 13-14 (Arrays and Intro to Objects/Classes)
  • Week 14: Introduction to Objects and Classes (3 hours)
  • Week 15: Review and Capstone Project (3 hours)
